Computerkast Silverstone Technology SST-CS381 v1.1 Mini-ITX zwart

Silverstone Technology SST-CS381 v1.1 Mini-ITX black is a compact computer case designed for small form factor systems that require multiple storage drives and active cooling. The chassis accommodates up to four 2.5" drives and two 3.5" drives while providing space for cooling solutions including two pre-installed 120 mm front fans and support for radiators up to 240 mm. Its black finish and reduced footprint make the case appropriate for desktop, living room, or office setups where space efficiency and storage capacity are priorities.

Advantages

The case combines a Mini-ITX motherboard layout with expanded storage options, enabling a high drive count in a compact enclosure without sacrificing airflow. Integrated front fans and radiator support allow for effective thermal management for both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations. Its understated black exterior provides compatibility with a variety of interior setups while the internal layout simplifies installation of 2.5" and 3.5" drives.

Suitable for

• Compact home or office PC builds that require multiple HDDs/SSDs
• Mini-ITX gaming or media center systems with moderate cooling needs
• NAS-like setups or storage-focused small servers
• Systems where a discreet black case and small footprint are preferred

Key specifications

• Form factor: Mini-ITX motherboard support
• Drive bays: up to four 2.5" drives and two 3.5" drives
• Cooling: two front 120 mm fans included; radiator support up to 240 mm
• External color and finish: black
• Recommended use: desktop, HTPC, small server or NAS-style configurations

How to use

Install a Mini-ITX motherboard and connect power supply and storage drives according to component manuals. Mount 3.5" and 2.5" drives in the designated internal bays, ensuring secure fastening and proper cable routing to maintain airflow. Use the pre-installed 120 mm front fans and install an optional 240 mm radiator in the supported location if planning a liquid-cooling setup; verify radiator clearance with other components such as memory modules and power connectors. Position the case in a location with adequate ventilation and connect external peripherals to the rear I/O and front panel as needed.

Recommendations

For best thermal performance, keep drive cables tidy and maintain unobstructed airflow in front of the intake fans. When populating all storage bays, monitor temperatures for both drives and system components and consider active cooling for densely packed configurations. Ensure radiator thickness and fan assembly are compatible with internal clearances before installation.
