DeLOCK glasvezelkabel LC duplex naar LC duplex OM3 2 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OM3 2m is a 2‑meter multimode fiber cable with LC duplex connectors and OM3 specification for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission. The cable includes a metal armouring that increases mechanical protection against moisture, dust and rodent damage while retaining flexibility and bending capability. It is suitable for connecting network devices such as switches, media converters and other fiber-equipped equipment.

Advantages

The metal armouring provides enhanced protection and higher tensile strength without compromising flexibility. OM3 multimode fiber supports high data rates over short to medium distances and the LC duplex connectors ensure reliable full‑duplex connections. The cable is factory-terminated and ready for immediate installation.

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile load. Insert the LC connectors into matching LC ports on your network devices until they click into place. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before installation to prevent signal loss. When pulling through conduits or trays, use the armouring to protect the fiber from mechanical damage and avoid kinking the cable.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this OM3 cable for short- to medium-range multimode links and protect connector ferrules with dust caps during storage. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius and avoid crushing forces despite the metal armouring.
