Dexlan netwerkkabel 858363 2m Cat6a S/FTP wit

The Dexlan Networking Cable 2m Cat6a S/FTP White is a two-meter shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable provides improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Its Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance for modern wired network setups.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design minimizes crosstalk and external interference, helping to maintain stable gigabit and 10 Gigabit-capable connections over short to medium distances. The cable's Cat6a performance rating ensures support for elevated data rates and reduced attenuation relative to lower-category cables. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs provide ready-to-use connectivity without the need for on-site termination, and the white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully seated to achieve a reliable link. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or kinks and keep it away from high-power electrical sources where possible to preserve signal quality. The cable is ready for immediate use without additional tools or termination.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends with radii smaller than the cable's recommended bend radius and do not tightly staple or clamp the cable. In mixed-cable bundles, maintain consistent shielding practices and separate power cables where feasible. Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs in installations that benefit from improved EMI protection and higher bandwidth capability.
