DIGITUS CAT 6 modulaire koppelingen, afgeschermd, 5 stuks, RJ-45, goudcontacten, zilver

Digitus CAT 6 modular couplers provide a quick and simple way to extend patch cables and create reliable RJ45-to-RJ45 connections. Each coupler contains two shielded RJ45 sockets with gold-plated contacts to support good conductivity and long-term use. The 1:1 wiring assignment preserves standard pin mapping and the silver finish fits professional network environments; this pack contains five pieces.

Advantages

The shielded RJ45 sockets reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal integrity in environments with potential noise. Gold-plated contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion, while the coupler design supports a high number of mating cycles for extended lifetime. The 1:1 wiring ensures correct pin mapping without rewiring.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining CAT 6 patch cables
• Temporary or permanent network connections in offices and data centers
• Shielded network installations where EMI reduction is required
• Small server rooms and workstation cabling tasks

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of a patch cable into one side of the coupler and the second patch cable into the opposite side to join the two cables. Ensure plugs are fully seated to maintain signal integrity. Use these couplers with CAT 6 cables and compatible shielded connectors to retain shielding continuity. For best results, avoid bending cables sharply at the connection point.

Recommendations

For installations requiring the best performance, use shielded CAT 6 cables and maintain proper grounding of the shielded connectors. Limit the number of inline couplers in a single link to avoid signal loss; where possible, prefer continuous cabling runs or use couplers for temporary extensions and quick repairs.
