DSIT CAT 6 netwerkkabel LSOH - S/FTP - 3 meter - zwart (DC-S60-030)

Unstable network connections and slow data transfers can cripple productivity in any modern office or home setup. The DSIT CAT 6 Network Cable LSOH - S/FTP - 3 Meter - Black (DC-S60-030) solves these issues with high-performance S/FTP shielding and low-smoke zero-halogen jacketing, delivering reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 250 MHz bandwidth. Whether you're connecting a workstation, server, or PoE device, this cable ensures clean signal integrity even in electrically noisy environments.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for IT professionals, network administrators, and home users who demand stable, high-speed connections for data-intensive applications such as video streaming, large file transfers, and IP telephony. It is especially suited for installations where fire safety is a concern, such as public buildings, offices, and data centers, thanks to its LSOH jacket that emits low smoke and no toxic halogens when exposed to fire.

Main features

• CAT 6 performance with S/FTP shielding: each pair is foiled and the overall cable is braided, providing excellent protection against EMI and crosstalk.
• Supports 10GBASE-T up to 3 meters, with a bandwidth of 250 MHz, ensuring future-proof network infrastructure.
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket: safer for people and equipment in case of fire, meeting IEC 60332-1, IEC 61034-2, and IEC 60754-2 standards.
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with 50 micron plating for corrosion resistance and reliable connectivity.
• Stranded bare copper conductors (24 AWG) for flexibility and easy routing in tight spaces.
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, PoE++) for powering devices like IP cameras and access points.
• Durable black jacket with a slim 6.2 mm outer diameter for neat cable management.

Tips

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable sharply or exceeding the minimum bend radius of 4 times the cable diameter. When routing through walls or conduits, use cable ties or Velcro straps to prevent kinks. If using PoE devices, ensure your switch or injector supports the required power class. To maintain signal quality, keep the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference such as motors or fluorescent lights.
