Enkele platte schroevendraaier Cimco 117701 lengte 160 mm

The Cimco 117701 single straight screwdriver, 160 mm in length, is a hand tool designed for straightforward screwdriving tasks where a slim, rigid shaft and a reliable tip are required. Constructed for durability and frequent use, the tool pairs a hardened steel shaft with an ergonomically shaped handle to provide stable torque transfer and improved control when turning fasteners in confined or exposed positions.

Advantages

The screwdriver's straight, one-piece shaft reduces flex and improves precision when applying torque. Its hardened tip maintains shape and fit with standard screw heads, helping to minimise cam-out and wear. The handle is shaped to fit common hand sizes and provides a secure grip that supports steady pressure and repeated use without rapid fatigue. The overall compact length makes it suitable for working in tighter spaces while still offering adequate reach for many general maintenance and assembly tasks.

Suitable for

• General household repairs and light maintenance
• Electronics assembly and small appliance work where a straight shaft is preferred
• Automotive interior tasks and trim removal where compact tools are needed
• Workshop use for assembly, adjustment, and routine servicing

Key specifications

• Tool type: single straight screwdriver
• Overall length: 160 mm
• Shaft material: hardened steel (durable construction)
• Handle: ergonomic, slip-resistant profile for improved grip
• Tip: shaped for secure engagement with matching screw heads
• Construction: one-piece shaft-to-tip design for reduced flex

How to use

Select the screwdriver and confirm the tip matches the screw head profile and size. Hold the handle so your palm applies steady axial pressure while your fingers guide rotation; this helps maintain engagement between tip and screw and reduces the chance of slippage. Turn clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. For higher torque requirements, ensure adequate hand positioning and avoid excessive force that could damage the screw head or tool. Keep the shaft aligned with the screw axis to prevent cam-out and wear.

Recommendations

Inspect the tip periodically for wear and replace the tool if the tip is rounded or damaged. Use the screwdriver for tasks within its mechanical limits—avoid using it as a pry bar or chisel. Store the tool in a clean, dry place to prevent corrosion and preserve tip accuracy.
