Epson WorkForce DS-790WN documentenscanner 600 x 600 DPI A4 zwart, wit

The Epson WorkForce DS-790WN is a sheet-fed office scanner designed for medium- to high-volume scanning tasks. It supports A4 and smaller media, offers 600×600 DPI optical resolution and automatic duplex scanning. The scanner includes a 100-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), a built-in display for direct operation and multiple networked scan-to options such as email, FTP and network folders to streamline document workflows and remote sharing.

Advantages

The DS-790WN combines a compact footprint with a robust daily duty cycle that supports heavy use. Optical resolution of 600×600 DPI delivers clear text and accurate image capture for business documents, while duplex scanning and the 100-sheet ADF reduce manual handling and increase throughput. Built-in network features and a display enable direct, stand-alone operation and integration into shared office environments.

How to use

Place documents into the 100-sheet ADF with the print side facing according to the feeder markings and select the required scan settings via the built-in display or connected workstation. Choose duplex or simplex scanning as needed, set resolution (up to 600×600 DPI) and select the destination such as email, FTP or a network folder. For mixed media, confirm media type settings before starting to ensure correct handling of business cards or plastic cards. Follow on-screen prompts to preview and confirm scans, then collect scanned originals from the output tray.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the ADF and glass surfaces clean and free of dust or adhesive residues. Use recommended paper weights and avoid overfilling the feeder above 100 sheets. For frequent duplex jobs, schedule regular preventative checks and adjust settings for optimal image quality when scanning cards or envelopes. When integrating into a network, configure access permissions and scan destinations to ensure secure document routing.
