Ethernet-kabel ShiverPeaks 75713-AS CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, 1G/10G compatibel

ShiverPeaks 75713-AS CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF Ethernet cable is engineered for high-speed network connections where reduced interference and reliable throughput are required. The cable combines individually foil-shielded pairs (F/), an overall braided shield (S), and a PIMF (pair in metal foil) pair arrangement to limit crosstalk and protect against external electromagnetic noise. It supports 1G and 10G Ethernet performance suitable for structured cabling, data center links and professional LAN installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with PIMF pair arrangement yields enhanced alien crosstalk and near-end crosstalk suppression compared with unshielded or partially shielded cables. Overall braid shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference, while individual pair foil shields keep pair-to-pair coupling low. The cable is halogen-free and GHMT-certified, which supports safer deployment in occupied spaces. Its design enables reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission within the specified channel distances.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• Structured cabling for offices and commercial buildings
• Professional LAN installations requiring low interference
• Patch cabling between switches, patch panels and active equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Supported network speeds: 1G and 10G Ethernet
• Construction: pair in metal foil (PIMF) arrangement
• Jacket: halogen-free
• Color: black
• Length: 3.0 m
• Compliance: GHMT certified

How to use

Install the Ethernet cable by connecting the RJ45 ends to the appropriate ports on network switches, patch panels or endpoint devices. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as heavy machinery or unshielded power runs. For structured cabling, follow channel length limits and testing procedures for CAT 6A to verify performance. Use proper cable management—ties and trays—to maintain bend radius and reduce stress on connectors.

Recommendations

Test each installed link with a CAT 6A-capable certification tester to confirm 10G readiness. When routing near high-power equipment, maintain separation or use additional conduit to preserve shielding effectiveness. Replace damaged or kinked cables to ensure continued electrical performance.
