Netwerkkabel Alcasa 0,5 m Kat.7 RJ-45 S/FTP grijs

The Networking Cable Alcasa 0.5m Cat.7 RJ-45 S/FTP Grey is a short high-performance patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact installations. Constructed to the Category 7 specification with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations on both ends, the cable supports 10GBase-T applications and data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. Its 0.5 m length and grey jacket suit patch panels, network switches, wall outlets and close-proximity device connections where a durable, low-interference link is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, improving signal integrity in congested cabling environments. Terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors, the cable is compatible with existing Ethernet ports and devices. The short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and latency for short links while the grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in server rooms and racks
• Linking desktops, NAS devices or media players to nearby routers or switches
• Short point-to-point connections in office desks, meeting rooms and data cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port of the devices to be linked, ensuring secure seating in switches, routers or network interface ports. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain gentle radii around corners and avoid tight kinks. For optimal shielding performance, keep the cable run separate from high-power electrical wiring where possible. This cable is intended for indoor use in structured cabling and equipment interconnect applications.

Recommendations

For best results in high-density or noise-prone environments, pair this Cat.7 S/FTP cable with shielded ports or metal patch panels to preserve the shielding continuity. Use short patch lengths like 0.5 m to minimise clutter and signal path length in rack-mounted and desktop setups.
