Netwerkkabel Alcasa 8060-005S RJ-45 Cat6 0,5m zwart

The Networking Cable Alcasa 8060-005S RJ-45 Cat6 0.5m Black is a short patch cable designed for reliable wired connections in home, office and data centre environments. It conforms to the Cat6 standard for high-speed Ethernet and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and protect against external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the black jacket gives a discreet, professional appearance.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction provides improved noise immunity compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain stable data transfer rates. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidths and reduced attenuation for gigabit Ethernet applications. At 0.5 m length, this cable minimises excess slack and clutter in patch panels, switches or desktop connections while maintaining low latency and solid mechanical contact via its RJ-45 plugs. The black outer sheath is resistant to visible soiling and blends with most professional setups.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• Connecting desktops or workstations to wall outlets or network switches
• Patch cabling in small racks, server cabinets or media furniture
• Environments where interference reduction is required (S/FTP shielding)

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.5 m
• Colour: Black
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, data transfer and patching

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 0.5 m Alcasa Cat6 cable to link nearby devices such as switches and workstations or to make tidy short runs within racks and furniture. Avoid kinking or tightly bending the cable near the connector to preserve signal integrity. If routing alongside power lines, maintain separation recommended by local installation guidelines to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, test connections after installation with a network tester to verify continuity and correct pair termination. Use this short Cat6 S/FTP cable where a compact, shielded link is required; for longer runs choose a cable with appropriate length and category rating.
