Hama 00200308 kabel-adapter micro-USB USB Type-A zwart

The Hama 00200308 Cable Gender Changer converts a Micro-USB connection to a USB Type-A port, enabling direct connection between Micro-USB tablets or smartphones and USB sticks, mice, keyboards or printers for data transfer and power supply. The compact black adapter contains copper internal wiring to support rapid data transfer and stable power delivery and supports USB On-The-Go (USB-OTG) functionality.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple, space-saving solution to connect Micro-USB devices to USB Type-A peripherals without extra cables. Copper internal conductors ensure reliable data throughput and efficient power transmission. Its small black housing is portable and easy to use with a range of devices that support USB-OTG.

• Using USB Type-A peripherals such as a mouse or keyboard with Micro-USB devices

How to use

Insert the Micro-USB end of the Hama adapter into the Micro-USB port of your tablet or smartphone. Connect the USB Type-A peripheral (for example a flash drive, keyboard, mouse or printer) to the Type-A socket. Ensure the host device supports USB-OTG; the device should recognise the connected peripheral and allow data transfer or peripheral control. Disconnect both ends when not in use.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with devices that explicitly support USB-OTG. For stable operation, avoid forcing connectors and keep contacts clean and dry. If a peripheral requires external power, use a powered hub to supply sufficient current.
