Handscanner Epson WorkForce ES-50

The Epson WorkForce ES-50 is a compact handheld scanner designed for portable, everyday scanning. With USB 2.0 connectivity, a CIS sensor and 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution, it delivers instant scans without warm-up time. The ES-50 supports a variety of media types including business cards, plastic cards and documents up to A4 size, and can scan long paper up to 1.8 metres. Place the media to be scanned—paper, card or other supported item—into the scanner path and initiate scanning from the ScanSmart application or driver interface. Choose desired file format and destination, then use continuous automatic feed mode for multiple pages. For best results, ensure media is clean and fed straight into the scanner.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use ScanSmart to select the correct media type and resolution. Avoid scanning wet or heavily creased documents. Store the scanner in a dry place and disconnect the USB when not in use. For repetitive daily volumes near the rated duty cycle, allow occasional rest periods to maintain performance.
