Hardcase Roadinger 30110025 voor platen multiplex aluminium 375x375x440mm

The Roadinger hard case for records is a protective transport and storage solution crafted from plywood with aluminium reinforcements. Measuring 375 x 375 x 440 mm, the case is sized to accommodate standard vinyl records while providing structural rigidity through a fitted plywood shell and aluminium edging. The construction aims to protect contents from impacts, pressure and everyday wear during transit and long-term storage.

Advantages

The combination of plywood panels and aluminium trim delivers a balance of strength and manageable weight, while corner and edge reinforcements increase resistance to shocks. The internal space is optimised for records and slim accessories, and the exterior finish resists scratches and scuffs that occur during handling. Metal fittings and latches provide secure closure and straightforward access.

How to use

Place records upright or flat within the interior, ensuring sleeves are clean and dust-free before packing. Close the lid and fasten the metal latches to secure the closure; check that corner reinforcements engage correctly. For transporting, carry the case by its handle and avoid stacking heavy objects on top to prevent deformation of the plywood structure. Store the case in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture-related damage to both the case and the records.

Recommendations

When transporting valuable or fragile records, use additional inner sleeves or cardboard separators to reduce friction and movement inside the case. Periodically inspect metal fittings and edge seals for wear, and keep the case away from prolonged direct sunlight and high humidity to preserve both plywood and aluminium components.
