HDD/SSD-behuizing DeLOCK 42623 transparant 2,5/3,5 inch

The DeLOCK 42623 is a transparent plastic enclosure for one 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive. It provides a USB Type-C connection (with included cables for USB Type-A or USB-C ports) and supports Serial ATA III interface and USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer. The housing includes a stand for vertical operation and allows hot-swap installation of drives without tools.

Advantages

The transparent plastic housing allows a clear view of the installed drive, and the supplied stand enables stable vertical placement. Tool-free installation lets you insert or replace a 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD/SSD quickly by sliding the lid and connecting the drive to the internal SATA port. The enclosure supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance over a USB Type-C connection and includes cables for both USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting an internal 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD or SSD as an external drive
• Quick hot-swap access to backup or archive drives
• Data transfer and cloning between SATA drives over USB
• Use with laptops or desktops that provide USB Type-C or USB Type-A ports

Reattach the lid until it locks. Connect the enclosure to a computer using the included USB Type-C or USB Type-A cable and allow the operating system to recognize the external drive. For safe removal, use the operating system's eject or safely remove hardware function before disconnecting the cable.

Recommendations

Use the enclosure on a flat, stable surface and ensure adequate ventilation around the transparent plastic housing. Avoid exposing the enclosure to liquids, strong magnets or extreme temperatures. When transporting a installed drive, first power down and disconnect the enclosure to prevent drive damage.
