HDMI-adapter Wiktors Vivolink WI221170 met 3,5-mm-audiobusaansluiting, wit

The Wiktors Vivolink WI221170 HDMI adapter in white provides a compact solution for routing high-definition video while extracting analog audio through a built-in 3.5mm jack. It connects an HDMI source to a display device and, at the same time, supplies a separate stereo audio output for external speakers, soundbars or headphones. The adapter is designed for straightforward use with TVs, monitors and projectors that require distinct audio routing from the HDMI video signal.

Advantages

This HDMI adapter allows simultaneous transmission of HDMI video to a display and analog audio to an external audio device via the integrated 3.5mm jack. Its compact, plug-and-play design requires no additional drivers and works with standard HDMI sources. The white finish blends with most consumer electronics and the adapter supports stable digital video output while providing convenient access to separate audio when a display lacks its own audio output or when a dedicated sound system is preferred.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, media players or set-top boxes to TVs or projectors while sending audio to external speakers
• Using monitors without built-in speakers together with headphones or desktop speakers
• Presentations or classroom setups that need the audio routed to a public-address or recording device
• Home theatre arrangements where the display’s audio is bypassed in favor of a dedicated soundbar or amplifier

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI input/output with integrated analog audio extraction
• Audio output: 3.5 mm stereo jack (analog)
• Color: White
• Form factor: Compact inline adapter for easy connection
• Compatibility: Works with standard HDMI sources and displays that accept external audio input

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the Wiktors Vivolink adapter to the HDMI source or cable, then plug the other HDMI connector into the display device. Use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the adapter’s audio jack to external speakers, a soundbar or headphones. Ensure the source device’s audio output settings allow audio passthrough over HDMI or external extraction, and select the correct input on the display and audio device. No software installation is required; the adapter functions as a passive routing accessory.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use good-quality HDMI and 3.5 mm audio cables and avoid excessive bending of the adapter. If you experience no audio output, verify the source’s audio settings and try an alternative audio cable or input on the external audio device. This adapter is intended for audio extraction from HDMI and is not a converter for differing video standards.
