InLine crossover pc-naar-pc directverbindingskabel S/FTP Cat.6 zwart 3 m

The InLine Crossover 73603X 3m S/FTP Cat.6 Black cable is a PC-to-PC direct connect cable built for high-speed Ethernet connections and device-to-device networking. This 3-metre shielded twisted pair (S/FTP) cable provides a crossover wiring configuration with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, enabling direct communication between two computers or network devices without the need for a switch or hub. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits office and home environments while the shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference for stable data transmission.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction delivers improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting reliable Cat.6 performance across the 3 m length. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network ports, and the crossover wiring simplifies point-to-point connections between PCs or compatible network equipment. The durable outer jacket and molded connector ends enhance mechanical durability and connection stability during frequent use.

Suitable for

• Direct PC-to-PC file transfer and gaming setups
• Temporary device-to-device connections without a network switch
• Connecting two compatible routers or network devices that require crossover wiring
• Laboratory or testbench setups where short, reliable links are needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP)
• Category: Cat.6
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of the first computer or device and the other RJ-45 plug to the second computer or device. Ensure both devices have compatible Ethernet ports and, if necessary, configure network settings such as IP addresses to enable direct communication. For plug-and-play modern systems, the link should be detected automatically and establish a network connection without additional configuration.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable alongside sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers. Use the 3 m length for short-distance direct connections; for permanent installations or longer runs choose an appropriate rated cable and consider installing through cable management to protect the jacket and connectors.
