IP-camera AXIS P3275-V – buiten-vaste dome, varifocale lens (AXIS P3275-V)

AXIS P3275-V is an outdoor fixed dome IP camera with a varifocal lens designed for reliable remote surveillance of perimeters, entrances and public areas. The camera combines weather-resistant construction with network video streaming to deliver continuous monitoring in exterior environments. Its adjustable field of view enables installers to optimise coverage without replacing hardware, while the fixed dome form factor offers a discreet, vandal-resistant installation suitable for mounted outdoor locations.

Advantages

The camera offers a varifocal lens that allows flexible adjustment of the viewing angle to match different installation scenarios and target distances. Its robust housing is built to withstand outdoor conditions and protect internal optics and electronics from moisture and dust. Network connectivity supports real-time video streaming and remote access, enabling integration with existing surveillance systems and centralised management. The fixed dome design reduces visible moving parts and helps protect the unit from tampering and environmental stress.

How to use

Install the camera on a suitable exterior wall or ceiling using a compatible mounting accessory, ensuring the chosen position provides the intended coverage and that the varifocal lens is set to the required field of view. Connect the camera to the local network via Ethernet and configure network settings and streaming parameters using the management interface or compatible video management software. Verify weather seals and cable entry points for outdoor exposure and perform a test recording to confirm image framing, focus and network connectivity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, mount the camera at a height and angle that minimises obstructions and glare. Use a PoE-capable switch or injector if available to simplify power and network cabling. Periodically inspect seals and lenses for debris or damage, and adjust the varifocal lens after any major site changes to maintain the desired coverage.
