TP-Link INSIGHT S355 bullet IP-beveiligingscamera buiten 2880 x 1620 pixels wandmontage

The TP-Link INSIGHT S355 Bullet IP security camera provides 2880 x 1620 resolution for clear outdoor surveillance with a wide field of view (88° horizontal, 46° vertical). Designed for wall mounting and wired connectivity, this white bullet camera uses a CMOS sensor with detection capability up to 80 meters and is built for reliable outdoor monitoring and event-based searches.

Advantages

People & Vehicle Analytics allows fast post-event searching by filtering detections by attributes, while Human & Vehicle Classification reduces false alarms by distinguishing humans and vehicles from other objects. True WDR balances bright and dark areas in high-contrast scenes, Smart IR adjusts infrared illumination to avoid overexposure and glare, 3D DNR reduces noise across frames while preserving detail, and White Balance keeps whites neutral across lighting conditions. Efficient H.265+ compression decreases bandwidth and storage needs compared with H.264 and H.265.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter surveillance of residential and commercial properties
• Monitoring entrances, driveways and parking areas
• Situations requiring long-range detection up to 80 m
• Installation where wired Ethernet connectivity is preferred

How to use

Mount the camera on a wall using the supplied bracket and connect it to a wired Ethernet network for power and data (PoE if supported by your system). Point the lens to cover the intended area, taking into account the 88° horizontal and 46° vertical field of view. Configure analytics and detection settings via the camera’s management interface to enable People & Vehicle Analytics, Human & Vehicle Classification, motion detection and IR behavior. Adjust True WDR and White Balance if manual tuning is available to suit high-contrast scenes.

Recommendations

Install the camera at an appropriate height and angle to optimize the reported 80 m detection range; avoid direct sunlight or reflective surfaces in the field of view to reduce false detections and IR glare. Use H.265+ where possible to save storage and bandwidth.
