Kabel-genderchanger Micro-HDMI HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77413

The ShiverPeaks BS77413 cable gender changer is a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter designed to connect devices with a micro HDMI output to standard HDMI cables and ports. It features gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer and a compact, black enclosure that balances portability with mechanical durability. This adapter enables audio and video transmission between cameras, tablets, ultrabooks or other micro HDMI equipped devices and TVs, monitors or AV receivers with full-size HDMI inputs.

Advantages

The adapter's gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help maintain a consistent electrical connection for audio and video signals. Its compact form factor makes it easy to carry and use in tight setups without adding bulk. The neutral black housing provides broad compatibility with common AV equipment and minimizes visual distraction when connected to home or professional setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras or camcorders with micro HDMI output to HDTVs or monitors
• Linking tablets or ultrabooks with micro HDMI ports to external displays for presentations
• Extending multimedia playback from mobile devices to home theatre systems
• Temporary connections in studios or on-location shoots where space is limited

Key specifications

• Connector types: micro HDMI (input) to standard HDMI (output)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Color and housing: black, compact molded housing for durability
• Signal support: supports standard HDMI audio/video transmission over a direct adapter connection
• Form factor: low-profile inline adapter suitable for tight spaces

How to use

To use the adapter, plug the micro HDMI end into the device with the micro HDMI port, then connect a standard HDMI cable to the full-size HDMI end and to the display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display to the correct HDMI input if necessary. The adapter facilitates direct pass-through of audio and video signals; no drivers or configuration are normally required for standard HDMI signal routing.

Recommendations

Use short, high-quality HDMI cables for the best signal integrity when extending connections with this adapter. Avoid excessive bending or strain at the connection points and disconnect by holding the molded housing rather than pulling the cable to protect the adapter and device ports.
