Kabelhuls ACT RJ45 blauwe huls voor 8,0 mm kabel

The ACT RJ45 blue boot is designed for 8.0 mm cables and provides protection and strain relief for RJ45 connectors. Supplied in a pack of 25 pieces, these boots make it easy to outfit multiple network cables while offering color-coded identification for tidy installations and improved connector durability.

Advantages

These boots protect connector boots and cable jackets from abrasion and bending stress, helping to extend the life of RJ45 terminations. The 8.0 mm internal diameter fits the specified cable size to ensure a secure fit and effective strain relief. The blue color aids visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• 8.0 mm diameter network cables
• RJ45 terminated Ethernet patch cables
• Rack and patch panel cable management
• Small office and data closet installations

• EAN: 8716065310795
• Color: Blue
• Suitable cable diameter: 8.0 mm

How to use

Slide the boot over the cable jacket before crimping the RJ45 connector or push it onto an already terminated cable by compressing the boot slightly. Position the narrow end over the RJ45 connector housing and the larger section over the cable jacket so the boot covers the connector strain relief area. Ensure the boot sits flush against the connector to provide optimal protection and strain relief.

Recommendations

Verify the cable outer diameter is approximately 8.0 mm before fitting. For best results, install the boot prior to crimping when possible; if fitted after termination, check that the boot does not deform the connector pins or affect the plug insertion into jacks.
