Kabelsplitter Televes OVT8N zwart

The Televes OVT8N Black cable splitter is designed to distribute a single coaxial input signal to multiple outputs while maintaining signal integrity. Its compact black enclosure fits behind equipment racks or inside small distribution boxes. The unit is supplied as a single piece and provides a practical solution for branching TV, satellite or terrestrial antenna signals to several tuners or receivers in domestic and light commercial installations.

Advantages

The splitter offers balanced signal distribution with attention to shielding and impedance matching to reduce reflections and interference. Its form factor and finish allow discreet placement near devices, and the robust connectors ensure repeated connections and disconnections without degradation. The device is engineered to deliver consistent performance across the commonly used coaxial frequency ranges for video and RF signals.

Suitable for

• Home TV antenna or cable TV installations where one input must feed multiple receivers
• Small office environments distributing a single antenna or cable line to several workstations
• Connections in equipment cabinets or behind entertainment units requiring compact splitters

Key specifications

• Function: coaxial signal splitting from one input to multiple outputs
• Housing color: black
• Connector type: coaxial threaded connectors suitable for RF cabling
• Typical use frequency range: compatible with standard TV and satellite RF bands
• Form factor: compact inline splitter for discrete installation

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable to the splitter input and attach the output connectors to the destination devices. Ensure all connectors are tightened securely by hand or with a suitable tool to maintain proper shielding and contact. Place the splitter in a dry, ventilated location away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Verify signal levels on each connected device and, if necessary, use inline attenuators or amplifiers elsewhere in the distribution chain to equalize levels.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality coaxial cables and minimize the length of runs from the splitter to each receiver. Avoid stacking passive splitters without amplification when feeding many devices, and consult signal level measurements if reception issues occur.
