How to use

Clip the lavalier microphone to the speaker's clothing near the collar or lapel, positioned approximately 15–25 cm from the mouth for optimal speech capture. Attach the bodypack transmitter securely to a belt or place it in a pocket with the antenna oriented upright if possible. Insert fresh batteries into the transmitter, power on the transmitter and pair or tune it to the compatible receiver operating at the same frequency. Perform a soundcheck to adjust input gain on the receiver or mixer to achieve clear levels without clipping.

Recommendations

For best speech intelligibility, place the lavalier capsule on the center of the chest or lapel rather than directly at the throat. Keep the transmitter battery compartment closed and use fresh batteries before important events. Maintain a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver where possible to reduce dropouts; test the system in the event space prior to use to identify optimal receiver placement and frequency conditions.
