Lindy 45407 netwerkkabel grijs 10 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Lindy Cat.6 UTP Premium RJ45 10m Grey is a Cat.6 U/UTP networking cable designed for data transmission up to 250 MHz and supporting Ethernet speeds up to 1 Gbps. It is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 standards, features a halogen-free LSZH outer sheath for reduced smoke and no toxic halogen emissions, and comes individually packaged in a polybag. The cable is 10 metres long and finished in grey, suitable for home and office network connections.

Advantages

This Cat.6 U/UTP cable provides bandwidth up to 250 MHz and is engineered to meet the electrophysical parameters required for Gigabit Ethernet despite being unshielded. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain reliable electrical connections over time. The snagless strain-relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH sheath lowers smoke emission and eliminates halogen release, making the cable appropriate for use in public spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and computers in home and office networks
• Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1 GBase-T) data links
• Structured cabling installations where LSZH material is required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Type: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Maximum supported Ethernet: 1 GBase-T
• Length: 10 m
• Connector: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a network device (router, switch or computer) and the other end to the intended port. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; use the built-in snagless strain relief to protect the latch during handling. The cable is ready for immediate use and requires no additional configuration beyond standard network setup.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines. Use in indoor environments or areas requiring low-smoke halogen-free materials. Store in original packaging when not in use to prevent damage.
