Lindy 45624 Netwerkkabel rood 3 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 45624 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 3 m, shielded S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair) Ethernet cable designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and data rates suitable for Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T). It features gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a snagless strain relief. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and is sleeved in a halogen-free LSZH sheath. The cable is packaged individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet connections. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion for long-term reliability. The snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH sheath limits smoke and toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public or enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T) connections
• AV extension and professional network installations
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling
• Patch panels, switches and workstation connections

Key specifications

• Model: Lindy 45624
• Category: Cat6 (S/FTP)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Standards: suitable for Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T); manufactured/tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plug at each end to the corresponding network ports (switch, router, network card or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; use the snagless strain relief feature to protect the latch when pulling the cable through cable channels or conduits. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for installations where reduced interference and halogen-free materials are required; verify connector seating and avoid exceeding recommended bend radius to maintain signal integrity and connector durability.
