Luidsprekerkabel PSSO 2x2,5 mm², 15 m, zwart

PSSO 2x2.5 mm² speaker cable, 15 m in black, is a twin conductor audio cable designed to connect loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or audio processors. The two-core construction provides clear positive and negative lines with a sufficient 2.5 mm² cross-section for typical home and small commercial audio installations. Flexible PVC insulation allows easy routing and handling while protecting the conductors from mechanical wear and environmental exposure during permanent or semi-permanent installation.

Advantages

The cable combines a practical conductor size with flexibility and durable PVC sheathing to ensure consistent signal transmission and straightforward installation. Its two-core design simplifies polarity identification and reduces the risk of incorrect wiring. The 15 m length covers mid-range runs in living rooms, studios or retail spaces without the need for joins, helping preserve sound quality. Black outer insulation provides a discreet appearance in most indoor environments.

How to use

Strip the cable ends to expose the conductors, taking care not to nick the wires. Identify positive and negative conductors by their marking or sheath orientation and connect them to corresponding speaker and amplifier terminals, ensuring secure screw or spring-clamp connections. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical stress; if passing through walls or conduits, use appropriate grommets or protective tubing. Test channels at low volume initially to confirm correct polarity and secure connections before normal listening levels.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 2x2.5 mm² cable for mid-length speaker runs where a balance of conductivity and flexibility is required. Keep connections clean and free of corrosion, and avoid running speaker cable in parallel with mains wiring to reduce interference. Replace the cable if insulation is damaged or conductors show signs of wear.
