LWL-koppeling SC Duplex bus naar SC Duplex bus singlemode metaal DeLOCK 86873

With the DeLOCK Optical Fiber Coupler SC Duplex female to SC Duplex female (single-mode) you can join two SC Duplex male connectors directly. The coupler has SC Duplex female ports in a metal housing and is intended for simple mounting in fibre optic connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels. The package contains two units; the compact dimensions (25.6 × 34.7 × 9.3 mm) make it easy to install in confined spaces.

Advantages

The metal housing provides mechanical durability and stable alignment of the ferrules for single-mode connections. The SC Duplex female to SC Duplex female design allows direct coupling of male SC Duplex connectors without additional adapters. Each coupler includes a protective dust cap to keep the sleeve clean when not in use.

Suitable for

• Single-mode fibre optic links
• Connection boxes and wall-mounted fibre outlets
• Patch panels and distribution cabinets
• Field or workshop installations requiring compact couplers

Mount the coupler in the intended location (connection box, patch panel or cabinet) and fix it according to the enclosure's mounting method. Remove the protective dust cap only when connecting; replace it when the coupler is not in use to protect the ferrule from contamination.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors and the coupler with clean hands and use lint-free wipes or approved cleaning tools to clean ferrules before connection. Avoid excessive bending of single-mode fibres near the coupler and store unused couplers with the dust cap fitted.
