Manhattan USB-C dock/hub, aansluitingen (4x): USB-A (4x), 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen1 alias USB 3.0), USB-gevoed (geen externe voeding nodig), kabel 20 cm, equivalent aan HB30C4AB

The Manhattan USB-C Dock Hub (model HB30C4AB) expands a USB Type-C device with four SuperSpeed USB Type-A ports, enabling connection of keyboards, mice, external storage and other peripherals. The hub supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates up to 5 Gbps, is backward compatible with older USB devices, delivers 5V/1A on its ports for charging and is bus-powered with a built-in 20 cm cable and compact ABS housing for easy transport and everyday use.

Advantages

The hub offers four USB-A SuperSpeed ports in a durable, compact ABS enclosure and requires no external power supply. Plug-and-play installation and hot-swappable operation make it simple to add or remove peripherals. Backward compatibility ensures older USB devices work correctly, while the 5 Gbps transfer rate supports fast data access for external drives and printing tasks.

Suitable for

• Connecting keyboards and mice to USB-C laptops or tablets
• Attaching external storage drives for file transfer at up to 5 Gbps
• Connecting printers, scanners and other USB-A peripherals
• Portable expansion of USB ports when travelling or working remotely

How to use

Plug the built-in Type-C cable into a compatible USB-C port on your laptop, tablet or desktop. Connect USB-A peripherals to the hub's four Type-A ports; devices are recognised automatically via plug-and-play and can be connected or removed while the host is running. For external storage, transfer files at SuperSpeed rates up to 5 Gbps; for charging small devices the ports provide up to 5V/1A output.

Recommendations

Use the hub with a USB-C host that supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 for maximum transfer speed. Avoid connecting high-power devices that exceed the hub's 5V/1A per-port capability; such devices may require a dedicated powered hub or direct connection to a powered USB port.
