METZ OpDAT ADT Splitsbox 2xLC-D OM4 Violet Zuiverwit RAL 9010 1501177H02HC

In modern fiber optic networks, managing splices and terminations at the subscriber end often becomes a challenge—bulky enclosures, unprotected fibers, and difficult access can compromise performance and reliability. The METZ OpDAT ADT splice box solves this by providing a compact, wall-mountable termination unit that neatly houses up to four fibers with two LC duplex ports, ensuring clean splicing and secure connections in indoor environments.

Who is it for

This splice box is ideal for network installers, telecom technicians, and building infrastructure managers who need a dependable point for fiber splicing and distribution in FTTH or enterprise LAN applications. It suits projects requiring OM4 multimode performance with a discreet, pure white finish that blends into any interior.

Main features

• Two LC duplex ports (violet connectors) for OM4 multimode fiber, supporting up to four fibers total.
• Wall-mount design with powder-coated steel housing in pure white (RAL 9010) for durability and aesthetics.
• Integrated splice tray with capacity for 4–8 fusion splices, keeping fibers organized and protected.
• Multiple cable entry points for M20/M25 glands, allowing flexible cable routing from various directions.
• Low insertion loss (<0.3 dB) and high return loss (>30 dB) ensure excellent signal integrity.
• Compliant with IEC 61754-20 and TIA/EIA-568-C.3 standards for reliable performance.

Tips

For optimal performance, use OM4-compatible LC connectors and maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended by cable manufacturer. Ensure the box is installed in a clean, dry indoor location away from direct sunlight. When splicing, follow standard fusion splicing procedures and secure fibers neatly in the tray to avoid stress on connections.
