Montageset SILVERSTONE XAC-MK-SP5 voor AMD socket SP5 – compatibel met XE360PDD XE360 serie, zilver

The SILVERSTONE XAC-MK-SP5 mounting kit provides the brackets and fasteners required to install compatible CPU coolers on motherboards with the AMD Socket SP5. Designed to work with SILVERSTONE XE360PDD and XE360 series coolers, the kit ensures secure attachment of the cooler to the socket area and consistent contact pressure for effective heat transfer from the processor to the cooler base. Components are finished in silver to match the cooler aesthetic and system build.

Advantages

This mounting kit is engineered for compatibility with AMD Socket SP5 platforms and SILVERSTONE XE360-series coolers, reducing the need for adapter parts. It supplies the necessary brackets, standoffs and fastening hardware to achieve a stable, vibration-resistant mounting. The silver finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with a range of chassis and cooler designs. By using manufacturer-matched mounting hardware, the kit helps maintain proper alignment and contact pressure for reliable cooling performance.

Suitable for

• System builders assembling desktop workstations or servers with AMD Socket SP5 processors
• Upgrading existing systems to use SILVERSTONE XE360PDD or XE360 series coolers
• Replacement of lost or damaged mounting hardware for compatible coolers and motherboards
• Custom PC builds where secure, evenly distributed cooler mounting is required

Key specifications

• Compatibility: AMD Socket SP5 platforms
• Designed for use with SILVERSTONE XE360PDD and XE360 series coolers
• Finish color: silver
• Includes: mounting brackets, standoffs, screws and fastening hardware required for installation
• Material: metal mounting components with coated finish for durability

How to use

Power down the system and unplug all cables before beginning installation. Remove the cooler currently mounted on the processor, clean thermal interface material from the CPU and cooler base, and prepare the motherboard area. Position the supplied SP5-compatible backplate or base bracket as required by the cooler design, align the standoffs with the socket mounting holes, and secure them using the included screws. Mount the cooler onto the brackets, ensuring even contact across the CPU surface, and tighten fasteners to the torque recommended by the cooler manufacturer. Reconnect power and peripherals and verify proper fan and pump operation where applicable.

Recommendations

Use the mounting kit together with compatible thermal paste and follow the cooler manufacturer's torque guidance to avoid uneven pressure. Verify socket and chassis clearances before installation and inspect fasteners periodically to maintain secure mounting, especially after shipping or system transport.
