Netwerk-patchkabel helos S/FTP Cat 6, 3,0 m lengte

helos Cable Patchkabel S/FTP Cat 6, 3.0 m length is a shielded network patch cable designed for reliable wired connections in office and home networks. Built to Cat 6 performance, it supports data transmission up to 250 MHz and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other structured cabling applications. The cable uses S/FTP shielding (shielded foil around each pair plus an overall braided shield) to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity. Standard RJ45 terminations provide compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and workstations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction reduces crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain stable data rates over the 3.0 m length. Cat 6 specification ensures performance adequate for Gigabit Ethernet environments and many professional network setups. Standard RJ45 connectors make installation straightforward and compatible with common network equipment. The 3.0 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-patch-panel or equipment-to-switch connections without excess cable slack in typical installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office networks
• Wired connections between PCs, workstations and network outlets
• Home network setups requiring stable Gigabit Ethernet links
• Structured cabling segments where reduced interference is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (foil around each pair + overall braided shield)
• Maximum frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Length: 3.0 m
• Supported applications: Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of a switch, router, patch panel or wall outlet and the other into the device to be connected, such as a PC or workstation. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For best performance, use within the intended 3.0 m span and follow standard cable management practices to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, avoid running the S/FTP Cat 6 cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle bend radii. Verify link speed and duplex settings after installation to confirm Gigabit Ethernet operation. Replace cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors.
