How to use

Mount the MOBOTIX M1A-S in a location that provides the desired coverage angle and is protected from direct exposure to weather. Connect the camera to your network using standard Ethernet cabling and configure IP settings according to your network architecture. Use the camera's web interface or compatible video management system (VMS) for live viewing, recording schedules and motion detection settings. Position and focus the camera during installation to ensure the 60° x 33° field of view covers the intended area and validate performance in low-light conditions after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal night-time performance, install the camera in locations shielded from direct light sources and reflective surfaces to minimize glare. Verify network bandwidth and storage capacity for continuous or event-based recording, and integrate the camera with a VMS that supports low-light tuning and firmware updates to maintain image quality and security.
