Netwerkkabel ACT DA7952 Cat6a U/FTP (STP) zwart 0,25 m met RJ-45-stekkers, vergulde contacten

ACT DA7952 is a 0.25 m Cat6a U/FTP (STP) slimline patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed Ethernet and 10G applications. The cable has a reduced outer diameter to improve airflow in racks and cabinets and uses gold-plated RJ45 contacts to support reliable signal transfer. The black LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gas release in case of fire.

Advantages

The slimline design (approximately 3.8 mm outer diameter) and smaller bend radius save space and allow denser cable routing without compromising cable performance. Full copper 32AWG conductors and 50 µin gold-plated contacts ensure stable connections and resistance to corrosion. The LSZH jacket reduces hazardous emissions in case of cable damage by fire or short circuit, and the cable is manufactured and tested to meet international standards.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This slimline CAT6A cable is optimized for short internal connections and tight spaces; it may not be the best choice for long horizontal runs where thicker, more robust cables provide easier handling and potentially lower attenuation over greater distances. If unshielded cabling is preferred or required by the installation, an unshielded Cat6A cable should be used instead.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cabinet keeping bend radius as gentle as possible given its slim profile. Plug the angled RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or devices; the 90° down to 90° up orientation is useful behind equipment where clearance is limited. Ensure shielded terminations and connected equipment are properly grounded if required by your installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this slimline ACT Cat6a U/FTP patch cable for short, high-density connections in racks and cabinets; maintain proper grounding for shielded cabling and avoid excessive bending beyond the cable's recommended radius to preserve performance.
