Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6 patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6 0,25 m blauw

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable (0.25 m) is a short straight-through network cable designed for connecting devices within home and office networks. It features S/FTP shielding, high-quality inner conductors and RJ-45 connectors with aluminium/copper plating to ensure stable, high-speed signal transmission in Gigabit Ethernet environments. The cable's blue sheath provides a clear visual identification in cabling setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while robust cable sheathing and precisely manufactured RJ-45 plugs contribute to long-term reliability. The aluminium/copper plated contacts improve signal contact quality and resistance to corrosion. Its short 0.25 m length minimizes signal loss and clutter when connecting closely located devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices located close together (e.g., switch to patch panel, router to switch)
• Home network setups requiring short interconnects
• Office rack or desktop connections where space is limited

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the first device and the other RJ-45 connector into the second device or network socket. Ensure connectors click into place and that cable routing avoids sharp bends or pinching. This patch cable is intended for short-distance connections inside racks, at desks or between closely placed networking equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within short patch distances and avoid running it parallel to power cables for extended lengths. Inspect connector contacts before use and replace the cable if the sheath or plugs show visible damage.
