Netwerkkabel Helos 263822 wit 25m Cat6a S/FTP

The Helos 263822 White 25m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-performance data transmission over local networks. Built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding and equipped with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 25-meter cable supports high-speed connectivity while reducing interference. The white jacket provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance suitable for office, home, or data center installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) increases protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal stability in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance for stable connections. The Cat6a performance level enables higher bandwidth and improved margin for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over shorter to moderate runs. At 25 meters, the cable offers flexibility for routing between network devices without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in office and small data centre setups
• High-speed home networks for media streaming and gaming
• Wiring between switches, routers, patch panels, and networked devices
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: white outer jacket

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding sharp bends and tight coils to maintain signal integrity. Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports on switches, routers, patch panels, or network cards until the latch engages. For installations near power lines or heavy electrical equipment, use the shielding ground points if available and follow standard grounding practices to optimise the S/FTP performance. Test the connection speed and link integrity with a network tester or by verifying link speed on connected equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power cables for long distances; use separate conduits or maintain perpendicular crossings where possible. When installing in permanent infrastructure, allow service loops and label both ends for easier maintenance. Use appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the RJ-45 connectors.
