Netwerkkabel Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 10m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 10m networking cable provides a 10 metre connection with SF/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to comply with Cat5e performance parameters, this grey cable supports high-speed data transmission for typical Ethernet networks. Its screened foil over unshielded twisted pair construction reduces external electromagnetic interference, helping to stabilise signal quality over the cable run.

Advantages

This SF/UTP cable offers improved protection against interference compared with simple UTP cables while remaining flexible and easy to install. With standard RJ-45 terminations at each end, it connects directly to routers, switches, network interface cards and patch panels without adapters. The 10 m length covers medium-distance runs within homes, offices and small server rooms and the grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that fits common cabling schemes.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between PCs, routers and switches
• Home and small office local area networks (LANs)
• Patch connections in network cabinets and wall ports
• Audio/video streaming and online gaming that require stable wired links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil shield around the overall cable with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking up to Cat5e performance levels

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring the connectors click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as mains transformers or large motors. For best performance, use straight-through wiring for connections between devices and follow typical Ethernet cabling practices when integrating into structured cabling systems.

Recommendations

For reliable network performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. When connecting to patch panels or keystone jacks, confirm the port wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) matches the rest of your installation to prevent cross-wiring issues.
