Netwerkkabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 30m blauw

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 30m Blue networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable gigabit connections in home and office environments. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil with individual pair metal foil) configuration and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 30-meter cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and offers reduced electromagnetic interference for more stable data transmission. Its blue jacket and professional finish make it suitable for visible installations and cabling runs in patch panels, wall outlets or between network devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded cables. With gigabit-capable cabling technology and standard RJ-45 terminations, the cable is compatible with common network hardware such as switches, routers and NICs. The 30 m length allows flexible routing between closets, office desks and workstations without the need for additional couplers, while the durable outer jacket increases mechanical resilience and longevity of the cable.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in offices or home networks
• Patch runs between patch panels and network equipment in small server rooms
• Wiring workstations where reduced interference is required (near electrical equipment)
• Temporary or permanent cabling for media streaming, VoIP and online collaboration

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid or foil with individually shielded pairs; PIMF-style)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 30 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Route the Helos CAT6 cable between the network devices you wish to connect, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on switches, routers, patch panels or computers. For wall or rack installations, secure the cable at regular intervals with appropriate clips or cable ties and maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius to preserve performance. If routing near strong sources of interference, orient the cable to keep distance from power lines and large electrical equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments up to typical indoor temperatures and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or moisture. For best gigabit performance, ensure both connected devices support 1 Gbps and use proper termination and patching practices. When running long or multiple cables, label ends for easier maintenance.
