Netwerkkabel M-Cab 20m RJ-45 Cat7 geel

The M-Cab 20m RJ-45 Cat7 Yellow networking cable by EFB Elektronik is a 20-metre high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. Constructed to Cat7 specifications, the cable features S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain signal integrity and reduce interference over longer runs. The bright yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify and route in patch rooms or behind equipment.

Advantages

Built to Cat7 standards with S/FTP shielding, the cable provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for stable long-term connections. The 20 m length covers mid-range distances without requiring additional patch panels or extenders, and the yellow outer jacket simplifies cable management and visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections in homes and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, and networked devices across rooms
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs in server rooms and equipment racks
• Environments where cable identification is important (labelling or colour-coded installs)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the M-Cab Cat7 cable between network devices, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain a bend radius appropriate for Ethernet cables to preserve signal quality. For permanent installations, secure the cable along cable trays or ties without excessive compression of the outer jacket. Test connectivity after installation using network diagnostics or a link/activity indicator on switches to confirm a stable link.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. When installing in racks or conduits, avoid tight bundling with unshielded cables and respect recommended bend radii. Periodically inspect connector contacts for dust and corrosion and replace the cable if insulation shows visible damage.
