Netwerkkabel ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Oranje 0.3m

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Orange 0.3m network cable uses copper-clad aluminum (CCA) strands with an AWG of 26 to provide an economical Ethernet connection. The cable has male RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a U/UTP (unshielded pair with overall unshielded) design, and comes in a bright orange PVC jacket at a length of 0.3 m, supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The cable offers a low-cost alternative to full copper cables by using CCA conductors while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ-45 ports. Reinforced strain relief and latch protection increase connector durability and help secure the connection during installation. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability for stable signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between devices in home or small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers and networked devices where a 0.3 m lead is required
• Color-coded cabling runs or temporary setups requiring a visible orange cable

Key specifications

• Length: 0.3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 (male)
• Cabling: CAT5e, U/UTP
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA), AWG 26
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• Jacket: PVC, color: orange
• Weight: 0.0203 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and kinks; keep it away from high-voltage power cables to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For reliable performance in permanent installations or high-density enterprise environments, consider using a full-copper CAT5e or higher-category cable. This ProXtend CCA cable is most suitable for short runs, patching and visible color-coded connections where cost-effectiveness is a priority.
