Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 08-35052 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45-patchkabel

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable model 08-35052 is a five-meter network patch cord designed for wired LAN connections in home and office environments. As a Category 7 U/UTP cable terminated with RJ45 plugs, it supports Gigabit Ethernet and higher-speed network applications where shielded pairs are not required. The cable's construction and RJ45 compatibility make it suitable for linking switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices that use standard Ethernet connectors.

Advantages

The Cat 7 U/UTP construction provides improved transmission characteristics compared with lower category unshielded cables, enabling stable data transfer at high bandwidths. The RJ45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility across common networking equipment. A five-meter length balances flexibility and reduced signal loss for typical desk-to-rack and inter-rack connections. The cable's consistent pair geometry helps maintain signal integrity for Gigabit and multi-gigabit traffic.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in small office networks
• Linking routers, NAS devices and desktop computers
• Establishing wired connections for high-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Temporary or permanent desk-to-equipment cabling where a 5 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 male to RJ45 male
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: yellow
• Application: Ethernet LAN for Gigabit and higher-speed connections

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring secure seating on switches, routers or patch panels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference. For best performance, keep the cable away from mains power lines and maintain gentle bend radii rather than tight kinks. Verify link lights and network settings on connected devices to confirm an active connection.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable for in-building horizontal runs and device interconnections where unshielded cable is acceptable. For environments with strong EMI or where shielded cabling is required, consider using shielded alternatives. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if contacts or the jacket are compromised.
