Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks 08-35106 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patchkabel, RJ45 naar RJ45, categorie 7

The ShiverPeaks 08-35106 Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable is a shielded network cable engineered for high‑speed Ethernet connectivity. Built to Category 7 performance, this RJ45‑terminated patch lead provides a direct connection between switches, patch panels, routers and network devices. Its construction supports structured cabling needs in data centers, office LANs and other environments requiring Cat 7 bandwidth and reduced crosstalk.

Advantages

The cable offers Category 7 specifications with shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference while retaining the familiar RJ45 terminations for easy integration into existing network equipment. Designed for reliable signal transmission, it supports high data rates and stable connections over typical patch lengths. The jacket and conductor design ensure consistent performance in structured cabling layouts and rack installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and interconnects
• Office LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Structured cabling installations requiring Cat 7 performance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 7 (Cat 7)
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Typical application: Ethernet and broadband networking
• Colour: white
• Length: 25 m (specified as a typical patch length option)

How to use

Route the cable through cable management channels or cable trays as required, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate each end into RJ45 ports on switches, patch panels or network devices, ensuring secure seating of the plugs. When installing in racks or panels, secure excess length with Velcro ties or cable organisers to maintain airflow and serviceability.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high‑voltage power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines. Verify network hardware supports the required data rates and configure equipment accordingly to benefit from Cat 7 capability.
