Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-35061 7,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35061 7.5m Cat7 U/UTP networking cable provides a high-performance physical link for Ethernet networks supporting data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The cable uses Cat7 construction and U/UTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference while keeping pair-level shielding absent, and it comes fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 7.5 meter length and blue jacket make it suitable for connecting devices across medium distances in home or office installations where a neat, visible cable run is preferred.

Advantages

The cable supports high-speed Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections, offering bandwidth and signal integrity suitable for demanding network traffic. U/UTP shielding helps mitigate external interference from nearby electrical equipment and cable bundles. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure stable electrical contact and increased lifespan compared with standard plated connectors. The flexible jacket and standardized RJ-45 termination allow straightforward installation with common consumer and professional network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, desktop PCs and networked storage in home and small office networks
• High-bandwidth tasks such as streaming, large file transfers, and online gaming
• Wiring short to medium cable runs where a visible colored cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall shield, unshielded pairs)
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, network storage device or other networked equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality. If used in a wall or conduit, verify local regulations and compatibility with in-wall rated cable standards before installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances, keep bend radius greater than the cable manufacturer's minimum (typically several times the cable diameter), and regularly check connector contacts if used in environments with vibration or frequent reconnection.
