Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41023-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1m groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41023-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1m Green is a high-performance networking cable designed for demanding wired connections. Constructed to Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this 1 metre green cable supports high-bandwidth data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference for stable network links.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides enhanced signal integrity through foil-shielded pairs and an overall foil jacket, which minimizes crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure reliable mating with network ports. The 1 m length offers a compact solution for connecting devices in tight setups, while the Cat8.1 standard enables very high data rates and improved headroom compared to lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between switches, routers and patch panels in data closets
• High-speed links for servers, NAS devices and workstation uplinks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where F/FTP shielding is beneficial
• Structured cabling segments requiring Cat8.1 performance and backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet standards

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Color: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your source device (switch, router or network interface) and the other end to the destination device (patch panel, server or workstation). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines to maintain signal quality. For installations within structured cabling, label each end as needed for easier maintenance.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-bandwidth links where shielded cabling reduces interference. Verify that connected equipment supports the desired network speeds and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve cable performance.
