Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41053-4 Cat8.1 5m F/FTP groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41053-4 Cat8.1 5m F/FTP Green is a high-performance network patch cable designed for demanding wired connections. Compliant with Cat8.1 specification, this 5‑metre cable combines shielded pair construction and robust RJ-45 terminations to support very high data rates and reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Its green jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable uses F/FTP shielding, with an overall foil plus individually shielded twisted pairs, which improves signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. The 5 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical home or office setups. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices while supporting high-frequency transmission required for low latency and high throughput applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Gaming setups requiring low latency and stable throughput
• Streaming and media servers with heavy bandwidth demands
• Home and small office networks where reduced interference is important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance level
• Length: 5 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually screened pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Green jacket for easy identification
• Suitable frequency range: designed for high-frequency Ethernet applications

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the network ports of your devices such as switches, routers, network cards or patch panels. Ensure connectors are inserted until the latch clicks to maintain a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and route the cable to minimise interference from power lines and other sources of electromagnetic noise. Regularly inspect for visible damage and replace if the jacket or connectors are compromised.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded or mixed cabling environments and terminate to compatible high-speed network equipment. Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the application and avoid sharp bends or kinking; secure with cable ties that do not compress the jacket.
