Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25O-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.25O-SET5 is a 0.25 m Cat7 networking cable designed for short connections where high bandwidth and low interference are required. It uses S/FTP shielding to separate pairs and reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. The cable's orange jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and crowded installations while supporting high-speed Ethernet links up to Cat7 performance levels.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Short 0.25 m length minimizes loss for patching between adjacent ports and equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and reduce contact corrosion over time. The cable meets Cat7 category characteristics, enabling stable high-frequency transmission suitable for modern wired networks.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, routers and servers in racks where short connections are needed
• Connecting network devices to wall outlets or patch panels in home and office setups
• High-density installations where color-coded cabling simplifies identification and management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 performance
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Color: Orange jacket for easy identification

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until a click confirms a secure connection. Use the cable for short patch connections between adjacent ports on switches, patch panels or network devices. Avoid sharp bends and pulling on the connectors; maintain gentle cable curvature to preserve shielding and internal pair integrity. For best performance, keep the cable length within the specified 0.25 m range and use for indoor network environments.

Recommendations

Use the orange color to mark specific network segments or to separate uplink and device connections visually. When deploying multiple shielded cables, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment to maintain shielding effectiveness. For permanent or longer runs, select appropriately rated longer-length cables following Cat7 installation practices.
