Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75515-V 5m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75515-V 5m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for demanding network environments. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs, this Cat7 cable is designed to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk over multi-gigabit links. The cable terminates in standard RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent signal transfer and contact durability. Its 5-meter length offers flexibility for desktop, rack, and office layouts while the violet jacket helps identify and organize cabling runs visually.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid shield with individually shielded pairs to provide improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded or only-foil designs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts support reliable mating and corrosion resistance for long-term use. As a Cat7 cable, it supports higher frequencies and is suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications, offering stable performance for data, voice, and multimedia traffic. The 5 m length balances reach and manageable cable routing in typical indoor setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home or office networks
• High-speed Ethernet links and multimedia streaming
• Structured cabling in small server rooms and workstations
• Applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and secure signal integrity

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + foil around each pair)
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Violet
• Typical usage: Ethernet up to multi-gigabit speeds, data/voice/video

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your device until it clicks, ensuring secure contact. Use the 5 m length to route between wall outlets, switches and end devices without excessive tension or sharp bends; maintain bend radii recommended for structured cabling to preserve shielding and pair geometry. For installations in environments with significant interference, connect the cable to properly grounded equipment to maximize the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding.

Recommendations

Avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle curves rather than tight bends. For best performance, use with compatible networking hardware that supports the intended Ethernet speeds and ensure connectors are clean and undamaged before installation.
