Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HS-SET10 zwart 1m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HS-SET10 is a 1m Cat6 networking cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable data transfer rates, and comes with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to support consistent signal transmission. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional look while the construction meets typical Cat6 performance expectations for gigabit Ethernet networks.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around the pairs and an overall foil provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help reduce contact resistance and corrosion over time, supporting stable connectivity. The 1m length is convenient for short connections between patch panels, switches, routers and nearby devices, while the Cat6 specification offers compatibility with gigabit Ethernet and many modern network setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to a switch or router over short distances
• Patch panel to wall outlet or switch-to-switch short links in wiring cabinets
• Home and small office networks requiring gigabit Ethernet and reduced interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 cable suitable for gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 meter
• Color: Black

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your devices until they click into place. Use the cable for short point-to-point connections such as from a switch to a computer or from a router to a nearby networked device. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain gentle loops and secure routing within cable management trays or behind furniture to prevent strain on the connectors and shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers, fluorescent lighting fixtures and large motors. When installing in structured cabling paths, ensure connectors are fully seated and test links with a network tester to verify continuity and expected throughput.
