Netwerkkabel Telegärtner S-FTP Cat.6A 3m

The Telegärtner S-FTP Cat.6A 3m networking cable is a 3-meter Ethernet lead engineered for high-speed wired connections. Constructed to Cat.6A standard with S/FTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this purple cable is intended to deliver stable data transfer rates and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. It is suitable for structured networks where consistent throughput and low crosstalk are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP Cat.6A design combines overall foil screening with individually shielded pairs to reduce near-end crosstalk and external noise while maintaining cable flexibility for routing. A three-meter length offers a balance between reach and minimal signal degradation for typical desktop, rack, or wall-to-device connections. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of routers, switches, network cards and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and IP phones to local switches or patch panels
• Short to medium patch runs in office racks and data cabinets
• Home networks requiring high-speed wired links for streaming, gaming or file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 3 meters
• Color: purple
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper suitable for patching (verify on product label)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding port on your network device and on the switch, router or patch panel until it clicks into place. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and do not place the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. The cable can be routed through cable management channels or used as a visible patch lead; ensure connectors are fully seated for reliable contact.

Recommendations

Use this 3m S-FTP Cat.6A cable for short to medium-length connections where shielded performance is desirable. When installing in environments with strong interference or long permanent links, consider appropriate grounding and adherence to cabling best practices to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity.
