Patch-/netwerkkabel EQUIP 404546 Cat6a U/FTP (STP) 305 m blauw

EQUIP 404546 is a 305 m Cat6a U/FTP (STP) bulk network cable in blue, intended for 10GBase-T Ethernet. The cable features individual foil shielding around each pair and an overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Supplied without connectors, it is suitable for structured cabling, data centers and high-speed office networks where long runs and improved signal integrity are required.

Advantages

Cat6a U/FTP (STP) construction provides enhanced protection against external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance. The 305 m bulk length is convenient for large installations and structured cabling projects. Blue jacket simplifies identification in multi-cable environments. Delivered without connectors for flexibility in termination and custom cabling.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling installations
• Data centers and server rooms
• Office networks requiring 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Long cable runs and backbone links

How to use

Measure and route the 305 m cable through cable trays, conduits or ceilings according to your structured cabling plan. Terminate both ends with appropriate RJ45 Cat6a shielded connectors or keystone jacks, ensuring correct pairing and maintaining the cable shield continuity. Test each run with a cable tester certified for Cat6a/10GBase-T standards to verify performance and identify any faults before commissioning.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GBase-T performance, preserve bend radius and avoid sharp kinks; maintain shield continuity when fitting connectors or patch panels and use suitable surge protection and grounding in environments with significant electrical noise.
