Patchkabel, GEMBIRD, PP6U-CU-7.5M, RJ45, Cat.6, 7,5 m, grijs

The GEMBIRD Patch Cord PP6U-CU-7.5M is a Cat.6 UTP copper Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector and a length of 7.5 metres. Designed for reliable wired network connections, this grey patch cord supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds and provides a balance of flexibility and signal integrity for home, office, and light professional environments.

Advantages

This Cat.6 patch cord offers improved data throughput compared with lower-category cables while maintaining compatibility with existing RJ45 network ports. The unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper conductors deliver stable performance for applications requiring up to 1 Gbps; the 7.5 m length gives ample reach without excessive slack. The cable jacket is durable and the molded RJ45 plugs are designed for secure insertion and reduced connector strain, contributing to consistent connection quality over time.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks for streaming, gaming and media playback
• Office desktop connections to switches, routers and patch panels
• Small server rooms and network closets requiring short to medium runs
• Temporary setups for events, workshops or testing network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 performance level suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Conductor type: copper, unshielded twisted pair (UTP)
• Connector: RJ45 on both ends with molded strain relief
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Color: grey
• Typical supported speed: up to 1 Gbps over recommended distances

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the patch cord to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or wall outlet port. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve conductor integrity; route the cable along edges or through cable management traces when installing in a structured environment. For the best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit connections, confirm that connected network devices and infrastructure also support Cat.6 or Gigabit Ethernet. Regularly inspect connectors for dust and damage and replace the patch cord if connectors become loose or the jacket shows visible wear.
