Patchpanel Digitus CAT 6 Class E High Density afgeschermd zwart

The DIGITUS® 24-port 0.5U CAT6 Class E High Density Shielded Patch Panel is a rack-mountable network component designed to save space while maintaining reliable link quality. With a compact 0.5U height and 24 shielded RJ-45 ports, the panel provides high-density cabling options and dust-protection shutters for longer-term performance in professional network environments.

Advantages

This shielded patch panel offers space-saving design (0.5U) that allows two panels to occupy a single 1U rack space for 48 ports, metal construction for mechanical stability, and CAT6 Class E performance to reduce interference and ensure consistent network links. Dust-protection shutters help keep contacts clean and maintain transmission quality.

Suitable for

• High-density server rooms and data cabinets
• Enterprise and campus network installations
• Telecommunications racks requiring shielded connections
• Structured cabling systems using CAT6 cabling

Connect network equipment to the front RJ-45 ports using shielded patch cords, and ensure the panel’s shielding is properly grounded to maintain performance and EMI protection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded CAT6 patch cords, verify correct grounding of rack and panel shield, and keep shutters closed on unused ports to reduce dust ingress. Follow structured cabling best practices when routing and labeling connections.
